The use of recycled and reinforced plastics in the construction of major components make the BMW i3 and i3s eco-friendly and fuel efficient. The fabric in the seats is made from recycled bottles, while the body incorporates carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP), a lighter, stronger alternative to steel.

DASHBOARD AND TRIM
Sections of the dashboard and trim are made from sustainably grown open-pore eucalyptus, adding a bit of zen to the interior. The fine leather upholstery in the i3 and i3s is tanned using olive leaf extract, a natural process that uses olive production byproducts to protect against fading and wear.
TERA WORLD COPPER

Finally, eDRIVE mode is purely electric, offering a max speed of 75 mph for a totally tailpipe emission-free ride.
