Amazingly, with stock performance and handling components, F-150 Raptor completed the 49th SCORE Baja 1000 with just basic race modifications. Beneath the hood is a high-output 450-hp 3.5L EcoBoost^® engine with the Torque-On-Demand^® transfer case. Exceptional handling comes courtesy of BFGoodrich^® all-terrain tires, FOX Racing Shox^™, available 4.10 front axle with TORSEN^® differential, plus Terrain Management System^™ with six driver-selectable modes and Hill Descent Control^™.

10-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

F-150 EcoBoost^® and V8 engines deliver their power through an advanced 10-speed automatic transmission. Compared with the 6-speed gearbox it replaced, the 10-speed delivers improved overall performance, with enhanced acceleration at the low and mid ranges of the power band. Features include optimized wide-span gear spacing coupled with drag-reduction actions plus three overdrive gears. What's more, you can choose from selectable modes: Normal, Tow-Haul, Snow-Wet, EcoSelect, and Sport.

5.0L TI-VCT V8

This legendary Ford V8 delivers even more muscle than ever and delivers best-in-class payload. Experience robust 395 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque, thanks to twin independent variable cam timing (Ti-VCT) and new direct injection (DI). Ti-VCT optimizes performance across the entire power band to match driving conditions. DI injects gas at high pressure directly and precisely into each cylinder, extracting as much power as possible from every drop of fuel. The 5.0L offers a CNG/Propane Gaseous Engine Prep Package for conversion to compressed natural gas (CNG) or propane autogas. A Snow Plow Prep Package is also available.

AUTO START-STOP TECHNOLOGY

Auto Start-Stop Technology is a feature on all F-150 engines. When you come to a stop, the engine shuts off to save fuel and restarts immediately when the brake is released. Designed smart for truck applications, Auto Start-Stop deactivates when it wouldn't be needed such as when you're towing a trailer or running in 4-wheel drive.

LED LIGHTING

LED lighting is virtually everywhere you need it. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go technology allows you to set a cruising speed and distance from the vehicle ahead. When activated, the stop-and-go feature automatically accelerates and brakes your truck while maintaining your preset distance. The stop-and-go technology can bring your vehicle to a complete stop in stopped traffic and resume as traffic begins to move.

SYNC CONNECT^® POWERED BY FORDPASS^™

With an available SYNC Connect^® -equipped vehicle, you can use FordPass^™ to track your vehicle's location and remotely access vehicle features, such as start, lock and unlock, and vehicle status, including fuel level. You can also schedule specific times to remotely start your vehicle so it's ready to hit the road as soon as you are.

360-DEGREE CAMERA WITH SPLIT-VIEW DISPLAY

The available 360-degree camera with split-view display uses four cameras - one in the grille, tailgate, and under each of the sideview mirrors. Available BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) signals you in the outside mirror when a vehicle is detected in a blind spot - and provides coverage for the truck you're driving as well as the trailer you're towing. The cross-traffic alert feature can detect a vehicle passing behind when you're slowly backing out of a driveway or parking place.

PRE-COLLISION ASSIST AND LANE-KEEPING SYSTEM

F-150 offers technologies to assist you in unexpected situations: (1) Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection scans the road ahead. If the sensors detect a potential collision, you get a visual warning on the windshield as well as an audible alert. And the brakes precharge and increase sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you brake. If corrective action is not taken and a collision becomes imminent, the brakes can apply automatically. (2) Lane-Keeping System vibrates the steering wheel or gives torque sensations, or both if you choose, when you drift too close to a lane marker.

CURVE CONTROL

Curve Control uses technology in the standard AdvanceTrac^® with Roll Stability Control^™ (RSC^®) to help slow your vehicle down when you're going too fast on a curve.

INFLATABLE SECOND-ROW SAFETY BELTS (SUPERCREW^®)

REVERSE SENSING SYSTEM
