UNIT-BODY CONSTRUCTION
Body-on-white frame for 2018 Ridgeline. Unlike many trucks, which use body-on-frame design, Ridgeline features unit-body construction. This uses different strengths of steel throughout the entire structure - higher grades of steel where it's needed - and then it's completely welded and/or bonded together to create an extremely rigid structure. Benefits of unit-body construction include a lower floor height making loading cargo and getting in and out easier, improved isolation from wind noise and vibration and better driving characteristics.
BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM
The Blind Spot Information System uses sensors behind the rear bedside to alert you when approaching vehicles are detected. That means you can change lanes with more confidence.
MULTI-ANGLE REARVIEW CAMERA
Make it easier to back up to a trailer hitch with a standard Multi-Angle Rearview Camera that offers three different views: wide, normal and top-down. Always visually confirm that it is safe to drive before backing up; the rearview camera display does not provide complete information about all conditions and objects at the rear of your vehicle.
HONDA LANEWATCH™
Just signal right and a small camera displays live video on your Display Audio screen to reveal nearly four times more than the passenger-side mirror alone. Display accuracy will vary based on weather, size of object and speed, and the display may not show all relevant traffic. The display is not a substitute for your own direct visual assessment of traffic conditions before changing lanes.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC) WITH LOW-SPEED FOLLOW
ACC with Low-Speed Follow cannot detect all objects ahead and may not detect a given object; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed and other factors. ACC should not be used in heavy traffic or poor weather or on winding roads. Driver remains responsible for safely operating vehicle and avoiding collisions.
