Brakes are automatically applied for a smooth, safe and secure descent. Standard Hill Start Assist helps avoid rollback when taking on steep inclines by applying the brakes, giving you time to transfer your foot to the gas pedal.
SELEC-TERRAIN® TRACTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Every Renegade 4x4 is equipped with the available Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System. It allows the driver to tune traction settings according to road conditions. The Auto, Snow, Sand and Mud settings are specifically tailored to ensure optimum traction and efficient operation. Pull into and out of parking spots easily with the available ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera.The ParkView system provides a wide-angle view of the area behind the Renegade with dynamic gridlines overlaid on the Uconnect® touchscreen to help with alignment. Audible or on-screen warnings are given when a hidden rear object is sensed, giving the driver time to react.
GET INTO A TIGHT SPOT
The available ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System uses sonar to detect stationary objects behind the vehicle. Audio and visual signals alert the driver when obstacles are close, allowing the driver to adjust his or her parking procedure.
