SAFETY OVERVIEW

BLIND-SPOT DETECTION
See what can't be seen. Available Blind-Spot Detection uses side mirror-mounted radar to help detect vehicles alongside and behind the K900. If a vehicle is detected, the system will emit a warning light and sound.
LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM
Stay the course. The Lane Departure Warning System uses a rear view mirror-mounted camera to read and help analyze the road ahead. If you happen to veer out of the lane without activating a turn signal, the system will alert you.
FULL-LENGTH AIRBAGS
Side Curtain Airbags, when used in tandem with properly fitted seat belts for both front and rear seating positions, can reduce injuries. The airbag system is managed by a number of advanced sensors that detect when an accident is imminent or underway and deploy the necessary airbags.
DYNAMIC BENDING LIGHT (DBL)

4-WHEEL DISC BRAKES
The foundation of the K900 active safety system, the Antilock Braking System (ABS), uses electronic sensors at each wheel hub to detect when wheels begin to skid. If skidding under braking is detected, ABS modulates brake force to reduce skidding which in turn allows for reduced braking distances in addition to helping you maintain control of your vehicle.
SURROUND VIEW MONITOR
Perceive your reality. The available surround view monitor system displays real-time images from four cameras. SVM utilizes four externally mounted cameras to simultaneously provide real-time video of the K900's surroundings and show an all-around, bird's eye-like view on the 9.2" monitor.
HILL START ASSIST CONTROL (HAC)
The Hill Start Assist Control (HAC) offers an added measure of security when moving from a stop on a steep hill by preventing the vehicle from rolling backward. It functions by gently applying the brakes for two seconds while you move your foot from the brake pedal to the accelerator.
