You've arrived and your Continental knows it. When it senses your approach, a suite of features activates as if to say "Welcome home" and "Where to next?"
When you park, your sideview mirrors automatically fold in to protect themselves. When you start your engine again, they unfold for the journey ahead.
The available twin-panel moonroof with power shade presents an all-glass, two-panel sky view. The power-retractable front panel glides open without obstructing rear-seat passengers' overhead views.
The bold new one-piece Lincoln signature grille - featuring distinctive Lincoln Star mesh - is designed to turn heads and widen eyes.
The Lincoln Continental features standard LED taillamps that are fully integrated into the trunk lid.
Lincoln Black Label is an elevated blend of both ownership and member privileges. It begins with choosing from exclusive and thoughtfully styled interior themes for your Continental. The three themes, the horse racing-inspired Thoroughbred, the alpine-influenced Chalet and the musically infused Rhapsody, help make your Continental distinctively your own.
The Lincoln Continental was crafted to present a culmination of interior amenities that create an overwhelmingly graceful experience. Designers worked to reduce lines that can divide an interior, producing a more connected flow. The seamless center console and laser-cut roll-top tambour cupholder door indicate deliberate attention to a purposeful and pleasing aesthetic. In-door seat controls, a front driver's seat that fully retracts as you exit, striking wood inlays and available rich leather surfaces surround you in an interior that is rejuvenating and decidedly Continental.
A back seat that simply doesn't take one. With power lumbar support, massage, heating and ventilating, and ample leg room, the reclining rear seat included in the available Rear-Seat Amenities Package has a bevy of features that will make you sit up and take notice.
Natural patterns within the wood accents make each Continental unique. Genuine woods, including open-pore Espresso Ash Swirl, Jade Ash Swirl and Brown Swirl Walnut were carefully selected to create a sumptuous and connected flow between interior surfaces.
Comfort should never be kept at arm's length, which is why designers mounted available seat controls right in the door - to harmonize with the movements of both passengers and the driver. And the buttons themselves - both their position and feel - have undergone the same careful consideration as the rest of the vehicle.
To best present ever-evolving technology, Lincoln designers and engineers took a holistic approach to redefining what a steering wheel can, and should, do. Controls for the configurable digital display, SYNC® 3 and more are positioned for ease of use. Wood inlay and leather-wrapped airbag covers help to create a steering wheel that is as functional as it is elegant.
Welcome to your comfort zone. The Perfect Position Seat with available Active Motion® massage features a range of adjustability and independent thigh extenders to comfort, support and rejuvenate. With in-door controls, the seats easily adjust for a uniquely comfortable position - as if you needed any more reason to never get out.
A single all-digital, in-dash instrument cluster screen. This single uninterrupted screen allows drivers to choose what information is important to them and where to place it.
Active Noise Control heightens overall cabin sound quality by reducing unwanted noise. Microphones monitor the sound profile of the cabin, which is then inverted by a signal processor to create an opposing acoustic wave through the speakers. When the opposing wave meets the original sound wave, they cancel each other out, providing a more pleasant driving experience.
Comfort, Normal or Sport? One decision you'll get to make after getting behind the wheel of your Lincoln Continental is which type of drive you're in the mood for. Set your drive type, and the adaptive suspension will tune your ride accordingly.
Electric Power-Assisted Steering provides an easy, fluid steering feel at low speeds and a firmer, more controlled feel at higher speeds. It also continuously adapts to changing road conditions and compensates for surface irregularities.
Auto Hold offers a new form of relief when you come to stop signs, signals and other braking situations. When the system is engaged and the driver uses the brake pedal to bring the vehicle to a standstill, the system will hold and then release the brakes when the accelerator is pushed.
Now, navigating traffic can feel a little more effortless. Available adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go marries camera and radar, enabling the Continental to sense and adjust to the pace of nearby cars.61 Stop-and-go functionality allows the vehicle to come to a complete stop and restart when traffic begins to move.
Thanks to an available Twin-Turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine, efficient horsepower per liter output and an AWD powertrain, the Continental is one drive you're sure to remember. With standard Dynamic Torque Vectoring, all-wheel drive, 400 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque,† it's also a drive you'll wish to repeat.
Raw power can turn heads, but refined power is what truly deserves attention. Dynamic Torque Vectoring delivers power on demand to the appropriate rear wheel while driving through corners. This feature enhances agility and helps maintain a smooth and seamless driving experience.
Each E-Latch door handle has a small button that, when given a simple touch, unlatches the door electronically, allowing it to be opened in a single smooth motion. Attention to the handle's position keeps the Continental's long, flowing lines intact. Plus, entrances and exits are made even more graceful with an available power cinch that gently gathers in the door and secures it.
Available Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection uses radar and camera technology to scan the roadway ahead and, if another vehicle or pedestrian is detected, provides a warning to the driver. If the driver does not take corrective action and the collision is imminent, active braking can automatically apply the brakes.
The available 360-degree camera61 lets you maneuver in low-speed situations with a view of your surroundings. Four cameras on the front, rear and sides merge to provide a bird's-eye view around the vehicle. You'll be better able to see around corners, down alleys and while backing into tight parking spaces. You can even use the camera located in the vehicle's grille for a 180-degree split view to boost visibility in cross-traffic situations.
By allowing drivers to keep their eyes on the road, the Head-Up Display helps make responding to the road ahead easier. It contributes to a custom driving experience by letting drivers choose what data to display, from standard driving information to adaptive cruise control settings, lane-keeping information and more. The Continental Head-Up Display, with its adjustable viewing position, is the biggest and brightest windshield-projected informational display in its class. Plus, digital light projection, another industry-first for Lincoln, allows the display to be visible in more ambient lighting conditions than systems offered by competitors, even when the driver is wearing polarized sunglasses.
Connect your compatible cell phone to this convenient no-extra-charge feature. 911 Assist can call for help in the case of an accident, even if you can't.18 The 911 call goes directly through your properly connected cell phone without the need for intermediary assistance.
Dynamic adaptive HID headlamps, standard on the Lincoln Continental, swivel from side to side with the steering wheel. As you turn the steering wheel, the entire beam pattern sweeps across the road in the direction of the turn, helping to illuminate a wider stretch of road when compared to non-adaptive headlamps. At speeds between 1 and 35 mph, the reflectors in the available adaptive full-LED headlamps are slowly activated and deactivated, widening the low-beam pattern to help illuminate pedestrians or other roadside objects. The reflectors also adapt in relation to the steering wheel position, adding more light in the direction of the turn.
With an available Lincoln Connect-equipped vehicle, you can use Lincoln Way™ to locate your parked vehicle and remotely access vehicle features, such as start, lock and unlock, and vehicle status, including fuel level. You can also schedule specific times to remotely start your vehicle so it's ready to hit the road as soon as you are.
With easy destination entry, it's a breeze for SYNC 3 with optional navigation to locate that hard-to-find Thai restaurant, the nearest ATM or a highly rated coffee shop. Plus, with SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link, get detailed traffic information, plus weather forecasts, fuel prices, sports scores, movie listings and much more.
If your vehicle is equipped, you can use your voice to set your favorite temperature or access the color touchscreen to adjust the temperature with large, easy-to-use touch buttons. The climate icon appears on some vehicles at the bottom of the SYNC 3 home screen for quick, easy access.
