The adaptive suspension in the MKT adjusts the suspension quicker than you can blink an eye. Plus, you can choose one of three ride modes: Comfort, Normal or Sport. EPAS provides an easy, fluid steering feel at low speeds, and a firmer, more controlled feel at higher speeds. It also constantly adapts to changing road conditions and compensates for irregularities caused by factors such as a crowned road surface and crosswinds.
POWER VISTA ROOF®
The available panoramic power Vista Roof in the Lincoln MKT lends a modern, open sensibility while providing an expansive view to both the first- and second-row passengers. The Vista Roof comes with a power sunshade to help keep your vehicle and passengers cool when the temperature heats up.

DUAL-HEADREST DVD ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM
The available Dual-Headrest DVD Entertainment System features two 7-inch color LCD wide-screen monitors built into the first-row headrests, top-slot-loading players, two dual-channel infrared headphones and a remote control. Passengers can watch the same or different movies on each screen. The system also includes game/video ports, wireless FM modulation to the stereo system and CD/MP3 playback capability.
SEATING OPTIONS

FOLD-FLAT BENCH SEAT
The seven-passenger seating configuration includes the standard 60/40 second-row bench seat. Plus, the rear seat can fold flat and, when the third row is folded down, helps to create a flat load floor.

3.7L TI-VCT ENGINE PERFORMANCE
Twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) adds an extra measure of precision when opening/closing the intake and exhaust valves. This precision contributes to fuel efficiency and power output, as load conditions demand. As a result, the Lincoln MKT delivers 303 horsepower and 279 lb.-ft. of torque and has an EPA-estimated rating of 16 city/24 hwy/19 combined mpg.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
Available adaptive cruise control functions just like traditional cruise control - but with one important difference. When forward sensors detect traffic slowing ahead, your vehicle also slows down. And when traffic has cleared, your vehicle resumes its set speed. Forward collision warning with brake support can alert you if it senses a possible collision with the car in front of you. A red light flashes to simulate brake lights and provides an audible warning. If you don't react in time, the brakes will precharge and provide full responsiveness when you do apply them.
ACTIVE PARK ASSIST
Available Active Park Assist61 is designed to help make parallel parking a breeze. While driving slowly near parking spots, simply activate this feature and it scans for available spaces. Ultrasonic sensors measure the distance between parked cars. Once a spot is identified, you're signaled to stop and accept the system's assistance. All you do is control the shifting, accelerating and braking.
ONE-TOUCH POWERFOLD® THIRD-ROW SEAT
The available PowerFold third-row 50/50 split bench seat accommodates two passengers. With the touch of a button, you can fold either or both sides to the floor in one fluid motion.
REFRIGERATED CONSOLE
The available second-row refrigerated console blends seamlessly with the first-row console and offers the luxury of refrigeration anywhere you go. The unit can chill up to seven 12-oz. cans, four half-liter bottles or two 20-oz. bottles to a temperature as low as 41oF, and there is a freeze mode, if desired.
HEATED AND COOLED SEATS

ADVANCETRAC® WITH ROLL STABILITY CONTROL™
It happens on occasion - you come around a curve a bit too fast. That's why you'll be glad to know that the Lincoln MKT comes with Curve Control, an enhancement to AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control. If it detects that you're entering a curve too quickly, it will apply four-wheel braking, while also employing throttle reduction, to help reduce your speed.
BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM
The available BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with cross-traffic alert61 helps make driving more convenient than one may expect. It uses radar to detect a vehicle in your blind spot and alerts you with an indicator light in the appropriate exterior mirror. Cross-traffic alert also uses radar to watch for traffic behind your vehicle as you're slowly backing out of a parking spot or driveway. If sensors detect a vehicle approaching from up to 15 yards away, you will be audibly and visually alerted.
LANE-KEEPING SYSTEM

The SOS Post-Crash Alert System activates the horn and emergency flashers in the event of an airbag and/or pretensioner activation. After the system is deployed, you may deactivate it by using your key fob.
INFLATABLE SECOND-ROW SAFETY BELTS
The available inflatable second-row outboard safety belts help distribute crash-force energy across more of the torso than traditional safety belts. This can help reduce the risk of injury while providing support to the head and neck. In the event of a frontal or side crash, inflatable belts hold the passenger in the appropriate seating position, helping to reduce risk of injury. These safety belts are compatible with child-safety seats.
